A flat for rent, Midtown in Warsaw

The owner bought this flat almost 15 years ago. In the beginning he lived there, eventually flat was rented. Residence is situated on fourth level in the building from 60-ties of XX century. It is very close to the Banking Square in Warsaw.

During renovation we had to change old heaters, remove the decrepit floors and tear damaged siding and also throw away sanitary ceramic. Practically we conduct full refurbishment.

The owner decided to continue renting so he accepted the classic solutions in black and white colors with elements of wood. There are wood panels on the floor in rooms. Additionally all walls required patching and painting.

The kitchen and a buttery were linked what create one big space. I designed new furniture and bought new fittings, a table with 3 chairs, a new fridge and a shelf for bits and pieces. In the place of the old heater there were hanged the new one.

In the bathroom I designed the new sanitary ceramic and minimalism white tiles (30×60 cm) on walls. There are black and white tiles on the floor in the bathroom, hall and in the kitchen.

The hall also changed it’s visage. We prepared a new cloaks cupboard and a storage unit for electricity and gas counters. I added a big mirror decorated by black frame, a coat hanger called Home and modern glasses lamp on the ceiling.
